It all started with a single phone call — the kind of moment you only see in movies. That call brought Brook and Ginger together, sparking a connection that would grow into a deep, enduring friendship.

A few years later, fate stepped in again when their oldest sons landed in the same elementary school class. It was in the school’s volunteer workroom that their bond truly began to take shape. From that day forward, their lives became beautifully intertwined — their children became friends, and so did they.

Over the years, Brook and Ginger have walked through many of life’s biggest moments side by side: marriages, divorces, personal loss, triumphs, and everything in between. Through every chapter — both joyful and difficult — their friendship has remained a constant.

They’ve also become collaborators. Ginger’s husband founded an architecture firm, and Brook now manages the office. Meanwhile, Brook launched a growing art business, with Ginger cheering her on every step of the way.

Deeply involved in their Rockwall community, both women have dedicated themselves to local nonprofit work. It was through this service that they began to see a gap — a real need that wasn’t being met. And with that shared insight came a shared calling.

One day, they decided it was time to act.

That’s how Baxter was born.
